Operational Phases of the Intervention
1. Removal of Damaged Plasters
Chipping and scraping of severely degraded plaster portions that were no longer adherent to the masonry support.
2. Removal of Deposits and Encrustations
Removal of coherent surface deposits, encrustations, and concretions using brushes and scalpels, with the application of poultices based on inorganic salts and ammonium.
3. Cleaning of Plasters
Cleaning of plastered surfaces aimed at removing dirt residues and superficial deposits.
4. Biocidal Treatment
Treatment of surfaces affected by microbiological attacks through the application of a biocidal product, followed by washing of the treated surfaces.
5. Replastering
Application of a new scratch coat and subsequent laying of a breathable, dehumidifying finishing plaster with high porosity, made with lime-based compatible mortars.
6. Restoration of Stone Elements
Removal of limewash layers and repainting present on stone elements using scalpels, scrapers, and spatulas, followed by filling of cracks and lacunae with compatible mortars.
7. Lime Wash Finishing
Application of lime wash finishing aimed at achieving color uniformity, ensuring breathability, and properly integrating the intervention.
