Thanks to a team of specialized conservators, we have the expertise required to carry out technical surveys and diagnostic investigations, providing targeted consultancy for restoration interventions.

Our main activities include:

• Condition surveys and graphic mapping of the state of conservation, with documentation of the original techniques, previous interventions, and ongoing restoration works;

• Stratigraphic investigations, supported by graphic reports and documentation, aimed at identifying the historical phases of the artwork;

• Relative humidity measurements, carried out to assess microclimatic conditions and degradation phenomena;

• Microchemical analyses and non-invasive investigations, performed using a video microscope, also in collaboration with specialized technical experts.

The collected data are integrated into the technical documentation required to obtain restoration permits and authorizations from the Superintendence (Soprintendenza) and other competent heritage authorities.
