Consultancy and Planning

We carry out pre-intervention consultancy for each restoration in order to evaluate methods and costs.
We take care of the planning of each restoration.
Each project arises from an in-depth phase of knowledge of the building, which includes historical investigation and scientific diagnostics.
The project therefore arises from the interaction between scientific knowledge and historical-cultural sensitivity aimed at the continuous search for the most suitable techniques for the conservation of the artistic heritage, respecting its cultural value and historical time.

Cognitive study and diagnostic investigations

Thanks to a staff made up of specialized restorers, we have the necessary skills to carry out surveys and investigations aimed at providing specific advice, such as:

- Surveys and graphic mapping of the state of conservation of an asset, of the executive techniques, of the previous interventions and of the restoration in progress;​

- Stratigraphic surveys, accompanied by graphic reports;

​- Relative humidity measurements;

​- Microchemical analyzes and non-invasive investigations conducted with the aid of a video microscope, also thanks to the collaboration of expert technicians.

The collected data flows into the documentation necessary to obtain authorization for the restoration work by the Superintendency and the competent bodies.
